Mobility Central Inc. was founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 2004 by Ben and Laurie Peters. Their goal then and now is to bring the best in home medical and mobility equipment to the people of Alabama. The trained and caring employees at Mobility Central work with medical personnel, patients, their families and caregivers to evaluate the home environment, assess equipment needs, and customize solutions that support the patient’s functional needs and therapeutic goals while addressing activities of daily living.

Mobility Central is accredited by The Compliance Team, which means we are a Medicare-approved Exemplary Provider®. We have a large, qualified staff with an average of 10+ years of experience in the healthcare and home medical equipment industry. Mobility Central's standards require each of our associates to receive 100 hours of continuing education manually.
